Once I saw a working phone booth, with door and all, incorporated into a living room in a magazine of interior design. I make drawings for my living room basement, and that this design would be a great conversation piece for guests. (also serves a purpose) Please provide links to articles or photographs of such a thing, thank you!

You can do whatever you design as long as they can and are willing to pay for it. I think the idea would have a lot of fun in the studio, but not a living room. If you everything you need to do is find that it is connected to telephone lines.
wow! So many possibilities. Well, aside from a phone booth. Bar drinks and package liquor store, library, lift, entertainment center, the entrance to the bathroom. . . . and so on.
